I had an excellent stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott near SouthSide Works in Pittsburgh. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and every team member I interacted with went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. My suite was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with a super comfortable bed and a separate sitting area that made it easy to relax or get some work done. I loved the modern décor and appreciated the small touches like plentiful outlets, good lighting, and a mini-fridge. The location is perfect; just a short walk to SouthSide Works, great restaurants, shops, and the riverfront. It’s convenient without feeling noisy or crowded. Breakfast each morning was fresh, well-stocked, and had a good variety, and the lobby area was clean and inviting. The onsite parking and easy access to downtown were an added bonus. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Pittsburgh!

We originally chose SpringHill Suites for its location — it’s close to restaurants and bike paths and the South Side is convenient to other places we wished to visit. Great location and parking around the corner, that was a great reason to stay. But in addition, our room/suite was spacious and comfortable. The bed was inviting and comfortable to sleep in. And the linens were soft and clean.
Wonderful front desk service (lLinda) , room was immaculate with the TV fully loaded. Quiet area just on the other side of the city on the Allegheny River. One other thing though, if you stay on the back side of the building be aware of multiple trains at night
Chose hotel for the location and gym, and it didn't disappoint. Nice and clean, fresh coffee through day. Gym was huge and well equipped.
OMG I did6n't know why anyone would stay here. The train tracks are like 20 feet from the building and the coal and auto trains that come all night long are incredibly loud. Difficult to get a night's sleep. Even on the 4th floor..
My three night stay here was great. The rooms were clean quiet and comfortable, and the location is close to all of the best aspects of Southside. Most importantly the staff is fantastic. I had an all-day online meeting on the day that I checked out, and they happily let me check out a little late, and provided me with my own conference room afterward to complete the meeting. Highly recommended!
